Danilo is the third generation of coffee growers in his family. For them, coffee growing is not only a tradition handed down from one generation to the next, but it’s his family's sole source of income. He grows coffee not only out of family custom and necessity, but also genuine passion.

In 2009 Danilo inherited a plot of land, and with 16 years of experience from working in the family business, he planted his own coffee plants. Despite the persistent challenges presented by climate change and the uncertainty there will be enough workers to help with his harvests, Danilo strives to make great coffee every year and is grateful to those who buy his coffee.

Danilo's Parainema is harvested at peak-ripeness and undergoes a 50-hour anaerobic fermentation in sealed bags before de-pulping and a 38-hour dry fermentation.
